  1. Hi Herve
You have obviously put a lot of thought into your plan - it is very comprehensive.

A couple of minor things that I noticed:
    1. You said that you will be using an odd number scale in your questionnaires, but you have used an even number scale. Reading your comment, I think that you meant to put "even" number.

    2. I wonder if your students will understand the terminology used in your questionnaires, eg "blended learning". Maybe some explanation as to what blended learning is (in the form of a footnote maybe) would be helpful.

All in all, your plan is looking good - so good luck with the rest of it.

  2. Thanks Michelle,

    I meant "even". Well spotted!
I am using Survey Monkey for the questionnaire, and have been able to put a description of the blended format at the top of the relevant page.

    Cheers

  3. Hi Herve,

The evaluation plan is well designed and the approach you have taken seems appropriate to me. I had done Cisco papers long time back in 2003 through MIT, and I had personally preffered using the online chapter notes and quizes and doing the end of the chapter tests.

In your questionnaires you did mention a question regarding what the students preffered - using Text book or Online materials, or combination of both. I had personaly prefered Text book back than, but now I would rather think online materials are more up to date, my Cisco Books from 2003 are out-dated now I guess.

Regarding the practical session - During my time even though we had the Tech open 7 days for us, we always did not get enough time to spend doing the practical work, due to the high demand of the lab and the time it takes to do some labs.
Are you thinking of introducing simulation online labs ? Is it being already used, if so, do students prefer using simulation or really trying out with the equipments?

Your plans looks great , good luck and would be keen to know the results :).

    Regards
    Krishan
